Monica Mirones, from A Bit of Ink and The Calligraphy Shoppe, is an artist who simply amazes me. She has an incredible talent that makes me…well, a little weak in the knees. She drew by hand the beautiful bird and scroll for A Pen for Pearl, as well as my logo, which you can see on my website.

When I received her lovely, hand drawn holiday card I held it in my hand, feeling the texture of the ink on the envelope for, hmm…let’s just say, a very long time.
