What is A Pen for Pearl?  A diary of sorts...a photography journal. 



A Pen for Pearl is dedicated to my grandmother, Gloria Pearl, in honor of her

faithfulness to handwritten letters and her love for the beautiful things in life.  

May her legacy be carried on through my journal as I correspond

regularly with you, always remembering the beauty that surrounds us.



I am a Tampa wedding photographer, and I specialize in capturing natural,

personal, romantic images.  I shoot primarily with film...a timeless medium.  I

would love for you to visit A Pen for Pearl frequently!  Consider it an

invitation to sit with me on my patio, enjoy a home brewed latte, and

browse through a handful of photographs together...

Dearest Friends,

What a wonderful wedding idea for a whimsical table display! Delicate white and green florals…in a tiny glass San Pellegrino bottle. This feels something like “comfort food” to me. Although, of course, I’m not really writing about food. Nevertheless, this little floral piece has the same casualness and ease of home-made corn bread casserole, wouldn’t you say?

Amanda Allen, of MMD Events, showed up on my doorstep with this little gift and we shared lattes together, chatting the morning away. What pleasure!

I know that there are many brides in the Tampa area who are not only looking for a natural, romantic feel to their wedding photography, but are also looking for romantic, home-spun floral design. Look no further than Amanda of MMD Events! Her creativity is…refreshing.
